The Vhorde Foundation
We refuse to let Africa's brightest minds go entirely unsupported. The Vhorde Foundation exists to train, fund, and empower the next generation of Nigerian and African engineers who will build our collective future.
Brilliance is evenly distributed.
Infrastructure is not.
For decades, the narrative has been identical: a brilliant young engineer in Lagos, Nairobi, or Accra conceives a breakthrough hardware solution. But without access to prototyping labs, unrestricted capital, or high-density manufacturing equipment, the idea dies on a whiteboard.
Alternatively, they leave the continent entirely, taking their genius to environments that already possess excess infrastructure. The African continent loses its builders. We are here to sever that cycle.
We are building an ecosystem where African engineers do not have to leave their homes to change the world.
The foundation acts as the entry point. Whether it is providing a workspace, sponsoring the fabrication of a custom PCB, or absorbing a bright mind directly into the Vhorde hardware divisions, our goal is ultimate self-reliance. We are not just creating consumer electronics; we are seeding an entire localized supply chain of talent.
Fund the next generation.
The Vhorde Foundation is heavily subsidized by our commercial hardware division, but scaling the ecosystem requires aggressive capital. We are actively seeking visionary LPs, philanthropic organizations, and hardware investors who want to partner with us to accelerate African innovation.
Build the future, from home.
We are actively looking for visionaries. Seek an internship, request a grant for your prototype, or join our next hackathon.
