Installation Guide

All Vhorde boards feature high-speed inbuilt eMMC storage. Follow these steps to perform a permanent installation.

01

Create Bootable USB

Download your board's ISO and use Vhorde Flasher to write it to a USB drive. This drive will act as your temporary installer.

02

Boot from USB

Insert the USB drive into your Vhorde board and power it on. The system will automatically detect the drive and boot into the live installation environment.

03

Install to eMMC

Once the desktop loads, open the terminal and run the deployment utility to move the OS from the USB to the permanent onboard storage:

sudo vhorde-deploy --emmc
04

Finalize & Restart

Remove the USB drive and restart the board. Your system is now running natively on the high-speed eMMC module.

sudo reboot
